Kill Saint Vitus is the first official release of the (Dutch) band Saint Vitus. A very fresh sounding album reflecting the spirit of the time. Released exclusively on Music-cassette, it provided the band an image of independency. The band and its' management had put in much effort to get the album released. A bootleg simply called 'Saint Vitus' circulating since late 1980 in various versions certainly helped to convince Salisbury Sounds to bring a proper release on the market. Fans were puzzled at the time why 'Mamma' was omitted from the official release. This wasn't corrected until 2007 on the 25th anniversary reissue CD. A 2002 CD transfer had just the original cassette tracklist
