Sound Advice in Concert was recorded live on februari 15, 1996 at the 'Vrije Hoge School in Driebergen, the Netherlands. Therefore it was a very honest live-album with no overdubs and recorded in just one night. It is up there with Saint Vitus Live (1983) and Saint Vitus on Stage (1984) and in a way completes the Trilogy of original live albums. Singer Feike here does not only lay down the definitive version of 'Make Your Move', she also shows finesse in ballads like 'Time' and 'Rainbows in the Sky'. Towards the finale she rocks out in 'Mean & Ugly' and 'Rollin' me Down'. It is well known that Feike as well as Henri weren't happy with the release. Feike criticised her own vocals and Henri has stated that the release in 2000 was too late and coincided with the release of his then current band 'Kerozinekikkers op Toernee', also a live album which got completely overshadowed by 'Sound Advice in Concert'. This album was like the 'Saint Vitus Live' album pirated as a 2CD version with more tracks. Luckily Nutking Records was able to put this practice to a halt and only a few copies may exist. For those eager to hear all, unfortunately It isn't very likely Nutking Records will ever release the full concert in any form.

In 2022, Nutking Records released an expanded version of the album to replace the old Bounty Records version. Still not complete Concert-wise, The missing songs 'Society' and 'I Want You' are added from the rehearsals leading up to the concert, along with some other tunes which all seem to originate from the 'Subtitles' album. It is unlikely the last mentioned album will resurface under de 'Nutking'-banner.
